Terms and Conditions | Return and Exchange Policy

1. This invoice shall be valid for 60 days from the invoice date, and delivery should be made within the said period. In case extension of delivery date is required, customers must pay the full balance of the invoice and storing charge may incur. Deposit will be forfeited if delivery is not made within the said period.

 

2. Title to the products shall remain vested in our company until we have received full payment of the invoice. Risk of the products shall pass to customer upon delivery of the products.

3. The online price is only for reference, and everything is based on the quotation until the order is finalized. Our company reserves the right of final decision.

 

4. All sales are final. We do not provide return or exchange and deposit will be forfeited. All sales of displayed item, outlet product, B machines, clearance sales, special order item, indent order, labor charge, delivery charge, installation services, damaged or abused items, items that are missing accessories , or any items that have been opened cannot be return or exchange. In case return or exchange can be arranged, it will be return at your own cost and risk. This includes the delivery , collection cost and restocking charge.

 

5. Customer should ensure the item ordered can be physically delivered to the delivery address, fit your requirement and be assembled therein. Our company bears no responsibility for any such failure. Please refer to term No. 3 for return and exchange policy.

 

6. All dates or times indicated for the delivery are approximate, and are subject to the stock levels at time of processing. Our company shall not be liable for any losses or expenses caused by any delay in delivery. All delivery service will be cancelled when Typhoon Signal No 8 or above or Black Rainstorm signal is hoisted. Delivery will be subject to rescheduling.

 

7. Additional charge will be imposed if the delivery van cannot enter the main entrance of the delivery address, or if there are no direct lift facilities in the building of the delivery address or the lift facilities can be used of are not suitable for delivery of the product.

 

8. Customer should carefully inspect the quantity and the appearance of the item before acknowledgment of receipt. Upon acknowledgment, our company shall be discharged from any liability for the sales. Customer or customer representative on site will be deemed as customer’s authorized recipient.

 

9. We always honor the manufacturer's warranty period where offered. We do not interpret manufacturer warranty terms and conditions, please refer to their terms and conditions.

 

10. Customer should take care of their own furniture, interior decoration, floor, wall and properties during the delivery and installation process. Our company will not be liable for any damage caused upon acknowledgment. Complain can only be made on site at the time of delivery and the maximum liability amount will not be over the sales amount of the product or HKD$1,000 (whichever is in smaller value).

 

11. Our company does not provide any type of installation service directly. All installation is done either by the manufacturer or distributor, or independent contractors. Our company bears no responsibility for all matters concerning installation of the products.

 

12. These terms and conditions embody the entire understanding between our company and customer and there are no promises, terms or conditions, oral or written expressed or implied other than contained herein. Our company reserves the right to cancel or vary these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

 

13. These terms and conditions are written in both English and Chinese. In case of inconsistency, the Chinese version shall prevail.

 

Terms & Conditions for CNF Engineering Ltd - Our contracted company for installation services for Cox Brothers Electrical Company Ltd. (eCOX.com.hk)

 

1.  
Our company only guarantees that all installations will comply with basic 
specifications and installation principles, but does not include any additional documentation 
procedures such as active reporting to government departments or private property 
management organizations. If the client needs to report the project to the relevant 
department, they must raise it with our company and negotiate before the project quotation. 
Our company may charge administrative fees or additional costs for assisting in the 
application, which will be charged on a case-by-case basis for each project. 


2. 
Our company will not accept any additional work beyond the agreed scope of work, 
and will not be responsible for any direct or indirect consequences arising from such work. 


3. 
According to the regulation of the Labour Department, if the on-site environment 
requires, the client must provide suitable scaffolding or work platforms for the technician to 
carry out installation, dismantling, inspection or maintenance work. The client can arrange 
and hire a scaffolding company to install the appropriate scaffolding themselves, or our 
company can introduce and coordinate with a scaffolding company to install the required 
scaffolding. However, our company only acts as an introducer, and all related issues before 
and after the installation of the scaffolding are the responsibility of the scaffolding company. 
Our company can help follow up and coordinate with the scaffolding company, but we do not 
assume any related responsibilities. 


4. 
The client should also understand that there may be marks or blemishes left on the 
exterior walls or nearby areas after the scaffolding is erected. If this involves building safety 
issues, the scaffolding company will try to cooperate with repairs to restore the original 
condition. If it only involves appearance issues, the client needs to handle it themselves. 


5. 
The client is responsible for careful protection of their personal belongings, such as 
furniture, flooring, walls, decorations or other possessions. If any loss or damage occurs, 
please check carefully and report it on the spot. Our company and related engineering firms 
will only accept and bear compensation up to the standard installation fee of the relevant 
project. However, once the technician have left the site, our company will not accept any 
related complaints or accusations. 


6. 
The client should carefully inspect the operation and appearance of the installed 
goods. However, once the technician have left the site, our company will not accept any 
related complaints or accusations. 


7. 
The on-site supervisor or inspector (including the client themselves or anyone else, 
including the engineering staff on-site if there are no client representatives present) will be 
regarded as the client's authorized recipient and representative of the client's wishes. 


8. 
The installation work is guaranteed by the engineering contractor for 6 months, while 
the product is guaranteed and maintained by the relevant product distributor according to the 
warranty terms. Maintenance includes: (I) racks (II) water leakage caused by poor glass 
sealant, but does not include scaffolding and safety frames, which must be provided by the 
customer. Problems caused by poor maintenance (such as water leakage from air 
conditioner due to lack of regular maintenance) or installation difficulties caused by the 
customer's furniture, interior design, and other factors are not covered. 


9. 
The customer understands that due to the design of the building's exterior, such as 
barriers or water hoses, the depth of the air conditioner installation position may be affected. 


10. 
Sweating or the problem caused by the drainage pipe of the building are not covered 
In the maintenance period. 


11. The installation work do not includes any decoration, such as painting or other touch up 
work.
